Hi everyone! My name is Arwa Khan and I'm a senior at Islamic Foundation School in Illinois. I've been a tutor with Bored of Boredom for 2 years and I love tutoring and working with the wonderful people of this community! I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, and painting in my spare time. I love learning all kinds of history and geography. I believe in access to educational support like the kind Bored of Boredom can offer to students who aren't always able to get it elsewhere. It is an honor to be able to serve such a dedicated community of tutors and students!

Swafiya Twahir, Co-President
Hi everyone!! My name is swafiya Twahir and I’m a junior at Bellevue high school in Washington. I love biology social justice and i am interested in pursuing a career of medicine in the future. I love to thrift hangout with my friends and read in my free time! I have been a bored of boredom tutor for three years and before becoming a copresident I was social justice head and on the interview committee. I am so excited for the year to come!

Hey there! My name is Advaith Rauthu the department head of humanities within bored of Borden! I am 16 and love playing sports! I am looking forward to work within bored of Bordem and help share the love of learning!
Gianna Michel, Recreation Dept Head
Hi! My name is Gianna Michel & I’m a high school junior based in Miami, Florida. My interest include all things related to reading & writing. Currently im perusing journalism, serving as the manager for my schools newspaper. I began working with Bored of Bordem during my freshman year, I was really passionate about tutoring because I am very admit on how far a good education can take someone. I love writing and I’m overly excited for my position as recreations department head this year!
Ishita Bansal, Stem Co-Head
Hi everyone! My name is Ishita Bansal and I am an incoming senior at Interlake High School in Washington. I love math, history, and computer science. I also enjoy interacting with and tutoring kids, especially in the STEM field. Outside of school, I enjoy dancing, reading, listening to music, and hanging out with my friends. I have been a math tutor at Bored of Boredom for over two years and love being a part of such an amazing community. I am so excited to be the STEM Department Co-Head!

Hi, I’m Lily co-head of the STEM department. I’m a rising junior from Cali. I’m interested in engineering/robotics. I’ve been tutoring for 2 years now. I had a tutor myself for about 8 years, which really helped me. I like listening to the Weeknd & Chase Atlantic <3
Mikayla Sagerman, Neurodiversity Head
Hi everyone! My name’s Mikayla and I am a Senior at Viewpoint School. I am passionate about neuroscience and STEM in general. In my free time I like hanging out at the beach with family, singing in my school choir, reading, writing, and drawing. I am happy to individually tutor in math and lead Bored of Boredom’s social media. Most of all, I’m so excited and grateful to lead Bored of Boredom in our mission to provide tutoring and support to learners of all different types. I’m looking forward to a great year!

Hi, my name is Baixuan Chen. I am a high school junior based in Irvine, California. My interests include math, computer science, and art. I participate in many math and computer science competitions. In my free time, I love to draw and paint. I started working with Bored of Boredom during my freshman year, and I love tutoring, because I feel like I am helping others, and can see their learning growth. Meera Shreedhar, Outreach Head
Hello everyone! My name is Meera Shreedhar, and I will be a junior in high school! The value of education has always been of upmost importance to me, and is something I believe everyone should have access to. I joined Bored of Boredom in my sophomore year of high, because I recognized that it is my responsibility to help those without access to proper education/educational resources. I found that Bored of Boredom was the perfect avenue to pursue my passion for youth education access, and play a key role in the educational journey of many students! Besides tutoring, I am an active member of my high school speech and debate team, and love to read, paint, and spend time with friends and family. I'm incredibly excited to serve at this organizations outreach manager, and cannot wait to see the future impact of this organization!
